Nuclear Mechanical Maintenance Manager

The McLain Group represents a client with an immediate need for a commercial nuclear power plant Mechanical Maintenance Manager.  Our client is a leading provider of nuclear generated electrical power.  The Mechanical Maintenance Manager provides overall management to the electrical or mechanical or instrument maintenance business unit.  Management of the corrective, preventive and outage maintenance programs for all plant electrical or mechanical or instrumentation equipment ensuring optimum plant availability and safe operation of the station and that all work is performed is in accordance with all applicable regulations.  The mechanical maintenance manager also provides long-range business unit planning that meets the financial objective and technical requirements.  Requirements:  BS degree in engineering or related science with five to ten years total experience, including three to eight years nuclear maintenance.  Two to five years supervisory experience in craft or technical activities at a nuclear power facility, preferred.  Two years total experience may be fulfilled by the degree requirement.  Shall have nondestructive testing familiarity, craft knowledge and an understanding of electrical, pressure vessel and piping codes and standards.  For confidential consideration, please email your resume to hshrum@mrinow.com Please note:  Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
