About This Opportunity
The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Operations training. This will include as a minimum: Needs analysis,Job and task analysis,Development of lesson plans, simulator guides, qualification cards and other associated training materialsResponsible for teaching assignments in the classroom, laboratory and simulator.This position includes being on call one week in eight for responding to emergent Operator training needs.
At an advanced level, additional responsibilities will include:Function as a lead instructor,Overall implementation and coordination of a specific program or functional area to include scheduling, assigning resources, updating documents, coordinating CRC activities, and participating in OTRC.
Qualifications High School diploma and a minimum of five years of nuclear power plant experience with at least one year in Operations. SRO license, SRO certification or a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Individual should have excellent verbal and written communications skills.The ability to work with Microsoft Office is a plus.
At an advanced level, additional qualifications will also include:Current or previous instructor experience and qualification or equivalent.
A practice presentation is required as part of the interview process.Employment contingent upon successful completion of background investigation. Pre-employment drug screening required.
