Nuclear Power Licensing Engineer

The McLain Group represents a client, a leading provider of nuclear generated electricity, with an immediate opportunity for a Licensing Engineer.   The Licensing Engineer provides technical support on plant specific regulatory issues.  Reviews and submits license amendments and technical specification changes, reviews license renewals and updates the FSAR.  Prepares presentations and briefings on issues for regulatory personnel and management.  Our client offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering or related science. A minimum of five years engineering experience in commercial nuclear power is required; at least two years of which shall be experience in the processes and activities involved in preparing a nuclear power plant operating license renewal application. Knowledge of design and licensing basis requirements, integrated nuclear plant operations, engineering mechanics, and structural design.
