About the Opportunity As a Corporate Nuclear Recruiter with FirstEnergy you will perform full-cycle exempt recruiting for a Fortune 250 electric utility company in northeast Ohio. You will have the opportunity to partner with hiring managers to determine staffing objectives by studying organization plans and position requirements supporting FirstEnergy Corp.'s Nuclear Generating Plants and Nuclear Corporate Business Unit. You develop sourcing strategies designed to identify qualified candidates in the areas of nuclear, chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineering as it relates to nuclear power generation, reactor operator licensing classes, and other positions related to the nuclear power generating industry through various recruiting sources and tools. You are responsible for determining candidate qualifications by developing knowledge, skill, and screening questions for each position to ensure placement of top talent within the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company. You are involved in conducting phone screens, interviews, and employee compensation and benefit overviews. You refer qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate their travel with the administrative staff. You are responsible for presenting employment offers by selling organization values, strengths, and opportunities. You negotiate all final salary and benefit terms with candidates. You maintain thorough documentation of requisition status, candidates considered and selection decisions. You provide guidance to hiring managers to ensure compliance with Federal and State employment laws. You maintain relationships with business networks and professional organizations to gain knowledge and obtain referrals. You attend college career events. You research current recruiting best practices, methods and processes to proactively recommend process changes.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.

Full cycle recruiting experience for exempt positions required.

At least 5 years of dedicated experience within the Nuclear Power Generating, Consulting, or staffing industry supporting the nuclear industry.

Superior sales skills to match candidates with Company's needs. Must have strong interviewing, customer service, public relations, negotiation and communication skills.

Project management skills required. Must have planning and prioritizing skills.

Must possess the ability to develop strong relationships with a broad range of individuals.

Requires periodic travel throughout service territory. Must be available to work before and after standard office hours as work may demand
