Office Supervisor

We are currently seeking an Office Supervisor for our Bakersfield, CA location.

 

This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and supervisory duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the clerical support function of the assigned department/division/function.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Supervising and monitoring work activities and duties of clerical/support staff assigned to the function of the department/division Overseeing the ordering and distribution of office supplies and/or equipment to ensure efficient use of supplies and proper maintenance of office equipments Leading trainer for multiple proprietary systems Maintaining, gathering and preparing various types of reports on a regular basis to meet the business needs and/or demands of the assigned function Facilitating group meetings, conference calls and appointments Providing relevant information as requested by internal and external personnel or customers Preparing appropriate response or correspondence to inquiries or requests from other departmental personnel or outside vendors Organizing and maintaining files, records or documentations relating to the business operation of the assigned function or department Working with other administrative staff for office space planning, logistics or moves, as well as monitoring facilities to ensure safety, security and proper maintenance 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  High school diploma, GED or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred Five to seven (5-7) years work experience in office administration, administrative support or accounting Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and concepts Proven supervisory experience in business administration or accounting function required Good organizational and multi-tasking skills Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to interact with others professionally and deal effectively with all levels of people Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team environment
