POSITION SUMMARY

Maintains control of and is ultimately responsible for the operations materials/supplies and personnel transfers on and off the facility, warehouse facilities, and the Equipment spares of the BHP Billiton Asset.



Assists Planner/Scheduler to ensure that the operations material and material stock is well organized. Maintaining (housekeeping and security) the warehouse, and shop in a neat and orderly manner.

Responsible for all crane activities and daily inspections / pre-use inspections. Performs safety inspection of wire rope, hooks, slings and rigging as required.

Coordinating periodic inventory counts are taken, including Performing periodic reconciliation of physical counts to the general ledger.

Assisting the external/Internal auditors by third party and BHP Billiton in the process of completing the year-end inventory test counts.

Implementing and adhering to the internal accounting control procedures that relate to operations materials as designated by BHP Billiton.

This position must be able to interpret load charts and lift plans.

Management of cargo to and from Shenzi Facility, Marine and Air. This includes paperwork of said material departing the facility.

Material and equipment coordination in regards to location / deck placement.

Management of material warehouse including the use of BHPBilliton's warehouse management tool, SAP MM

Helicopter Landing Officer AUTHORITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Shenzi Planner / Scheduler

Shenzi Maintenance Supervisor

Shenzi Production Supervisor

Fourchon Shorebase Dispatcher

Amelia Flight Coordinator

Houma Warehouse Manager

Supply and Logistic EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

High School graduate or equivalent (GED) required

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

"A" Crane Operator Certified must have previous experience as a offshore crane operator

Riggers Certified

Minimum of five years of crane operating experience preferred

Basic computer skills, MS excel, MS word, MS outlook.
