PSL Assistant Manager (1183)

DescriptionThe Product Service Line Assistant Manager (PSLAM) will be responsible for supporting the PSLM in all his activities. This position will primarily address the tactical requirements for product development and commercialization, and will also support the strategic requirements. This may include development and review of contracts with suppliers and customers as well as on-going relationship with suppliers, customers and internal groups, including Sales, Operations and Engineering. Under the guidance of the PSLM, the PSLAM will be responsible for the initiation, development, commercialization and long term support and management of seabed systems. This will include analysis of markets, technical and commercial competitive analysis, specifications and other documents as required by the ION PD&C process, and management of internal and external stakeholder relationships. Some travel will be required to support vendor/partner relationships, as well as sales and marketing. Occasional crew visits during new product deployments are possible.Required Skills

Solid interpersonal and commercial skills – the successful candidate will be expected to develop (through training) strong negotiation and presentation skills. Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications and MS Project.Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or earth science discipline. Minimum years related experience: 2-5 years. Strong knowledge of marine geophysical operations and applications. Hands on experience in using and/or developing integrated field systems.
