The Payroll Specialist position will report to the Payroll Supervisor.  Expected to be a team player and able to communicate and work effectively with various departments within the company, including operations, sales and executive management.  The appropriate candidate should display a positive attitude and have good attention to detail.

Responsibilities- The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accuracy, timeliness and general integrity the payroll process and related reports.  The payroll specialist will be responsible for the processing of Biweekly multi-state payroll.

Calculate time sheets

Input of payroll for salary and hourly employees

Bonus and commission processing

Update Master Payroll records for W4 information, voluntary deductions, direct deposits, and garnishments

Keep records of vacation leave

Maintaining Employee Payroll files

Payroll Allocations

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education / Experience - A Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll related experience.  Advanced level of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.  Individual must be a self -motivated team player and possess strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.  ADP Payexpert experience a plus.
