Payroll Specialist (WMSC Payroll Support Sr)

I. Job Summary Under general supervision, conducts accurately and timely processing of WM?s payroll, resolves complex client issues, and assists in the processing or obtaining of information for payroll production. II. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Required: - Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business - Five or more years experience in Payroll. - Knowledge of Payroll and Payroll Tax Regulations - Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as PeopleSoft HRMS. - Experience in a multi-state payroll department. - Interpersonal Skills to work effectively with others - Good Oral and written communication skills Preferred: - Certified Payroll Professional (''CPP'') - Bachelor's Degree - Ability to summarize problems, resolve issues and generate various reports - Strong time management skills, must be detailed oriented - Ability to explain the impact of payroll changes and research information - Canadian Payroll Experience desired, not required To Apply for this position, please CLICK HERE
