Pipeline Project Engineer

Provide project management/engineering for pipeline projects, including building, support structures, pumps, meter stations, pipelines and other related facilities.
Perform hydraulic studies, project scopes and associated cost estimates related to business development of existing and new pipelines and pipeline related facilities as well as other studies as needed.
Manage the engineering procurement and construction of multiple projects of varying complexity.
Assist in compliance with Local, State and Federal agencies.
Research and recommend new technology and equipment.
Interact with HSE/Regulatory/Compliance groups regarding compliance & audits by DOT/TRRC and other regulatory agencies.
Provide detailed technical / economic analysis of projects to senior management.
Provide technical support to Business Development.
Interface with pipeline supplier and customers.
Other duties as required.

BS in Petroleum / Mechanical Engineering plus 10 yrs. experience in pipeline design, construction, maintenance and operations.
Strong understanding of economics relating to asset performance & business development evaluations.
Knowledge of CFR49 Parts 192 and 195 for governmental compliance requirements.
Good supervisory, computer (MS Office Suite) and communication skills.
Broad knowledge of business development ‘disciplines’ – Engineering, Land, negotiating, Tax, Legal, construction and procurement process, etc.
Must be self-motivated, adaptable, with demonstrated strong interpersonal / networking ability.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be flexible to travel as required.
Must be able to work outdoors, wear personal protective equipment, and walk on uneven surfaces.
Knowledge of CAD Systems, hydraulics, metering and design applications.
Knowledge of various engineering/governmental standards (API, ASME, FCC, EPA, OPS, TRRC, ETC.)
