Portfolio Scheduler, North Portfolio

Provides overall project scheduling at the portfolio level for all projects based on size and risk of the project and communicates information to the project team. Periodic travel to other job sites is required.

Analyze various facets of project work and establishes schedules for completing the work within the allotted time. 
Collaboratively develop and maintain the project master schedule and alliance contractor milestone schedules. 
Layout, generate, and distribute schedule reports to internal and external personnel.
Acquire inputs from several sources. Conceptualizes and uses a computer to model a project with many detailed activities.
Interface with Alliance contractor schedulers; aggregate and analyze alliance contractor schedules.
Monitor, coordinate, and compare design, procurement and field construction activities and progress with contract schedule and productivity requirements.
Prepares and analyzes critical path, resource loaded schedule and recommend solutions.
Promote early corrective action to meet a project's schedule and budget.
Analyze outage performance and recommend solutions.
Participate in large project reviews and other projects as designated.

Education:
Bachelor's degree. Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a science discipline is preferred.


Experience:
5 years professional work experience, of which 3 years are in engineering, engineering management, construction engineering, construction management, project management, or utility scheduling roles. 
Proficiency in Primavera Software preferred.
Exposure to the electric transmission business.
Strong project management and analysis skills. 
Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction and supervision.
Proven ability to work effectively independently, under deadlines and in a diverse workplace required. 
Demonstrated ability to maintain successful cross functional relationships within ATC as well as externally. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills. 
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word; Intermediate proficiency in MS excel.
