What your day will look like: • Responsible for overseeing total engineering design including: preparation of detailed Electrical design documents, engineering design calculations, energy and pressure drop analyses, systems coordination and documentation for a variety of building types. • Oversee and perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control. • Deliver complete, accurate and coordinated project assignments within time and budget parameters while satisfying client and contractual obligations. • Responsibility extends to project management of small engineering team and interaction with client. What you need to qualify: • BS Electrical Engineering. • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of California. • 10+ years experience designing and developing Power & Lighting systems including experience with hospitals, laboratories and schools. * Experience developing medium, low and high voltage systems, short circuit analysis, load flow and protective device studies * Experience with grounding, motor controls and energy engineering. • 5 years experience in a lead, project management or supervisory capacity. • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate conceptual ideas with clients, architects, and design engineers. • Positive attitude, highly motivated and a team player. • A proven record of client satisfaction.
