Pre-audit reviews and preparation of teams ensuring compliance for upcoming audits & Supply Process Reviews

Review, analyse and develop remedial recommendations in support of the function (GAS, SOX & SPR)

Ensure compliance with processes (including Contracts & Commitment Policy and Tollgating), applicable laws and regulatory requirements and impact to the function

Leads efforts to manage the contract approval process and to communicate and implement the process consistently across BHPB Petroleum.

Coordinates with BHPB Legal on contract approval and contract implementation processes

Supports the procure-to-pay SOX remediation and compliance initiatives (relating to accurate footnote disclosure of commitments and liabilities

Works with Sponsors, Legal and the SBS Vendor Authorization Group to review and negotiate legal terms and conditions and ensure compliance with BHPB internal legal process and procurement and supply policies

Communicates company and legal department policies and approval processes for contract changes to in-house clients

Supports and leads the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal and approval processes as well as training on such topics. AUTHORITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
