Product Engineer

ASCO Power Technologies, the leading manufacturer of on-site power switching and control equipment, systems, services and solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for a recent grad or an entry level Product Engineer to join our engineering staff at our Florham Park, NJ facility.

 

Key responsibilities include configuring and documenting new and specialized products for the company’s emergency power and remote control switching products.  The primary engineering functions include the integration of electrical, electronic, power switching and power distribution components into complete products for customer orders.  Engineering expertise is required in electrical power distribution and controls as well as mechanical assemblies (electrical enclosures, power distribution equipment).  We require a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, experience in electrical and mechanical design of power switching and related controls, knowledge and experience in domestic and international electrical codes and approval standards and CAD/CAE systems.  Must posses strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and articulate technical problems. Good communication skills and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
