Product Services Specialist

Candidate will implement and monitor the Product Services, and Custom Terminaling programs as directed by Supervisor with the goal of increasing Magellan Midstream Partner L.P.'s ("MMP") operating profit. The candidate will have oversight of MMP's additive programs to ensure the efficient operation of injection equipment at all MMP locations. They will provide support and expertise to all MMP field locations on additive related matters. Coordinate and make daily decisions regarding additive inventory logistics and injection performance issues, while maintaining inventories and ensure accurate terminal and pipeline injection of chemicals. Candidate will also manage the GE/Petroex data tables for the electronic feed to each customer. Extensive knowledge of all terminal automation systems will be required as well as a strong working knowledge of refinery products and renewable fuels. Compile monthly additive injection variance performance reports for terminal and pipeline additives per EPA and MPL requirements. Implement Custom Products for Suppliers at the terminals, where these services are available. Compile inventory reports for customers and additive vendors to prevent product outages at any terminal. Candidate will interact with IT support staff outlining issues and potential solutions to resolve issues surrounding these programs. Requires a working knowledge of the technical aspects associated with MMP terminal loading racks and pipeline additive operations, equipment, and administrative policies. An incumbent should have at least two years of field experience in station and terminal operations, as well as an understanding of engineering principles gained either through education or practical experience. Strong interpersonal skills required since this position requires extensive interaction with both Supplier customers and operations personnel.
