Professional Recruiter, EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc., Mid-Continent Business Unit

 

As a member of the EnCana Oil & Gas Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for proactively recruiting Engineers, Geologists, Geophysicists, Land Negotiators, and other critical positions for the Mid-Continent Business Unit in Dallas, Texas.   You will recruit the highest quality talent for our organization so that we can fulfill our aggressive growth plans.

 

This key position requires an experienced, dynamic, and ethical Recruitment or (oil & gas) Sales Professional with a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, marketing, or a similar field of study, as well as demonstrated expertise in delivering high quality (recruitment or sales) results through effective analysis, planning, prioritization, communication, and problem solving.

 

Unless applying with a background in direct sales/service within oil & gas or energy, your experience should include:
 

§Demonstrated technical and business acumen, as well as consultative skills

§Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle (candidate sourcing, assessment, selection, and integration), to include the creation and development of both tactical and strategic plans

§Developing, monitoring, and leveraging recruitment metrics to drive high-impact results

§Tying HR and recruitment strategies to overall business strategies

§Demonstrated proficiency with respect to business/technical writing, MS Office applications, and database management

§Exposure to Six Sigma / LEAN and/or Continuous Improvement is preferred

 

Candidates should have demonstrated integrity, initiative, creativity, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a never-ending passion for learning and continuous improvement. 

 

Candidates will have 4+ years of progressive experience as recruiter within a complex and dynamic market/industry with highly skilled professionals and an acute shortage of talent.  Oil & Gas experience, sales service experience in Oil & Gas or energy, or search firm experience is a plus.
