Leading Engineering and Design firm is seeking Cost Engineering and Scheduling professionals to support clients in the area of Project Controls in Central Ohio. 



Essential Job Description:

Candidate will provide project controls support to large clients.  There is opportunity for Cost Engineers and for Schedulers.  The responsibilities for Cost Engineers include:

·  Perform and review cost estimates

·  Develop project budget - forecast

·  Develop requests for capital project funding

·  Develop bid packages and requests for proposals

·  Monitor ongoing project costs, and update project actual cost and earned value

·  Generate monthly project cost reports

·  Must be able to lead, facilitate, and coordinate the work activities of others within a project team, as well as to be responsive to current client needs

 

The responsibilities for Schedulers include:

· Develop, maintain, and update large (2000 + activity) project schedules

· Analyze and provide periodic reports on schedule progress

· Must be able to lead, facilitate, and coordinate the work activities of others within a project team, as well as to be responsive to current client needs

 

Requirements:

Cost Engineer: BS in Engineering (strongly desired); 5-10 years experience in budgeting/cost control for large industrial projects; understanding of Earned Value, Cost Performance Indicators, Schedule Pefroemance Indicators; outstanding communication skills; PMP certification a plus; ability to travel.

 

Scheduler: 10 - 15 years experience in project scheduling; thorough knowledge of CPM scheduling; P3e and P5 expertise; prior experience with large (2000 + activity) project schedules.
