Project Development Manager

My client needs a highly skilled and innovative Project Development Manager to join their team of senior professionals focused on crafting the next generation of reservoir-specific solutions. Year-end and long-term incentive bonuses are tied to the successful application of these solutions.

The successful candidate will lead senior multi-discipline petrotechnical teams together with subject matter experts from various Halliburton product-service lines to perform detailed field studies and seek to answer the question: "if we had the asset - what drilling and completion solutions would we seek to test, what would our field development plan be, what would the CAPEX and OPEX be, how would the wells perform, and what would the economics look like-". Our goal is to leverage new, innovative upstream E&P technologies and best practices to evaluate and exploit large field development opportunities and to create significant improvements in recovery efficiency, well productivity, and development cost. Key targets include stacked tight gas sand, gas shale, naturally fractured reservoir, and coal bed methane developments which benefit from application of innovative drilling and completion technology within the context of advanced geoscience interpretation and past exploitation understanding. Requirements: 

The Ideal candidate must have at least an undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering or a Geoscience discipline and a minimum of 20 years of relevant industry experience which spans the oilfield life cycle. Experience in unconventional resource plays is also required. Successful candidates will be self-motivated with a high capacity for learning and applying their skills in performing field studies and creating field development plans. They will be challenged to research critical topics pertinent to the project evaluations they are leading, to be creative, and to take advantage of everything Halliburton and other companies have to offer in terms of technology, global best practices and local knowledge in crafting each reservoir-specific solution. This will be a significant learning and professional growth opportunity since the successful candidate will lead a number of vastly different project evaluations each year in many of the industry's hottest plays.
