This position will contribute to pipeline and pipeline facilities projects.Key Duties:• Responsible for detailed design, analysis, scheduling, monitoring & engineering of pipeline projects. This includes project engineering and design for natural gas gathering, transmission and metering projects.• Project responsibilities will include: design, assisting in route selection, cost estimates, material specifications, contract documents, weekly progress reports, project schedules for clients.• May assist more senior engineers on large, more complex projects.Qualifications• BS Mechanical Engineering.• 10+ years experience in a design or consulting environment providing project engineering for oil and gas pipeline projects.• Knowledge of industry codes and regulations including DOT 192, ASME B31.8, API, ANSI and other related to natural gas transmission facilities, and DOT 195 and ASME B31.4 for liquids• Strong personnel management skills and financial/project controls background necessary.• Must be a self starter, able to problem solve and work on multiple projects with multiple disciplines at the same time working with other engineers, designers, and technicians.In addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate would meet the following preferred qualifications:• PE registration is a plus.• Experience with terminals and compression is preferred.Benefits: Medical and Dental Plans Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Income 401(k) Plan with company match Employee Ownership Paid Time Off Program Flexible Work Scheduling Business Casual Dress Learning and Development Opportunities Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Voluntary Auto and Homeowners InsuranceCompany Profile:Employee-owned CH2M HILL is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction and operations for public and private clients.
