In this integral position you will:

· Provide overall management direction for projects, including staff supervision, planning, change order estimating, execution and closeout

· Act as the primary point of contact with the client and maintain a positive client relationship

· Manage all subcontracts and subcontractor performance

· Be fully responsible for project financial success and administration including all required reporting, billing, A/P and A/R

· Coordinate closeout of subcontracts and project per contract requirements

· Negotiate change order scope of work and execution schedule with the client

 

We can teach you the energy business if you have:

· Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in construction industry

· BS in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

· Proficiency with PC based spreadsheets and word processing; Microsoft Project a plus.

· Extensive experience/knowledge of mechanical and electrical contracting, design, finance, and management

· Knowledge in the start up, commissioning, and testing of mechanical and electrical equipment

· A thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities

· Familiarity with federal and local energy standards

· Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Superior written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance
