Chevron North America Exploration and Production is accepting online applications for the position of Project Manager/Facilities Engineer located in Anchorage, Alaska.Overview:The Project Manager/Facilities Engineer will provide cost effective project management of facility projects for Chevron’s Cook Inlet oil & gas facilities, primarily offshore. Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:• Identify and initiate cost-effective opportunities for revenue enhancement through production increases or expense.• Manage facility-based projects, including scope, risk analysis, authorization for expenditure generation, procurement, Management of Change, Hazard Analysis, contractor supervision and startup• Identify, understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, permitting requirements, minimize their impacts upon operations• Evaluate, design and implement solutions with the guidance of industry recommended practices to comply with applicable Chevron Alaska and Corporate Policies and Procedures• Grow in new areas of relevant technology• Willingly accept accountability for project performance parameters (timeliness, cost, quality as well as HES aspects)• Maximize use of project management tools• Select and supervise contract engineering resources• Work closely with Asset Team to prioritize, plan & execute projects that provide needed facilities on schedule and on budget.Required (Basic) Qualifications• Minimum of 10 years of oil and gas facility project management or a combination of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 6 years project management experience.• Proficient in upstream oil and gas production and processing operations.• Prior responsibilities in managing of oil and gas facility projects from conception to completion.• Demonstrates highest safety & environmental performance and leadership, must be proactive in addressing safety issues and have a proven track record of strong support of processes that support Incident Free Operations, good understanding of safe design & operating principles.• Ability to work effectively (minimal supervision) in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment.
