Project Quality Lead

Job Purpose:



The BC-10 Project is a major deepwater oil development located in the Campos Basin approximately 120 km southeast of the city of Vitoria off the coast of Brazil. The Project is in the execute Phase with multibillions project budget for Phases 1 and 2. The P50 first oil date is Q3-Q4 2009 for Phase 1 and Q1 2013 for Phase 2. The integrated development concept is a distributed subsea system with an FPSO located between the two main fields. The fields will be developed with subsea wells drilled from several clustered locations with a semi-submersible rig and commingled through subsea manifolds and Flowlines.  The produces gas will initially be re-injected into the aquifer and will then be exported to the Petrobras operated BC-60 pipeline and on to shore when available.


Duties:



The Project Quality Lead will be a member of a the Project Services Team, reporting to the Project Services Lead, and interfaces with the Project Quality Team located in various sites. The Project Quality Lead will be responsible for overseeing Quality related activities at selected contractor/sub-contractor locations. These Quality activities shall cover both the delivered product as well as project execution processes.


 

Skills/Qualifications:



10 years (minimum) experience in E&P Oil & Gas Offshore facilities or Project Engineering positions, with experience in a Quality supervisory position, including offshore experience.

A degree in a related engineering subject

Knowledge and understanding of industry standards, processes, working practices and inspection techniques related to FPSO fabrication

Certified lead Auditor or documented experience as a Lead Auditor

Engaged in a similar role on a major offshore project
