Quality Assurance/Production Planning Manager

The company is a global energy services provider focusing on the clean technology sector.  It manufactures proprietary compressed natural gas (CNG)transport and dispensing equipment and bundles natural gas distribution services for major vehicular and industrial users in key international emerging markets. 

 

Additionally, we are in design prototype phase of a new product line in which we are establishing a pilot facility overseas for the manufacture of its proprietary product--light-weight, composite-wraped pressure vessels.   These products initially will be sold and utilized for the transportation by trailer of CNG.  However, because of their lightweight and ISO certification, they have a larger market opportunity in specialty high-pressure applications throughout the world.

 

The priority of this position (Quality Assurance/Production Planning Manager) is to address quality and configuration control.  Responsible for implementing inspection criteria and procedures and coordinating with engineering and manufacturing/fabrication to ensure on-time delivery of products.  Coordination, testing and vetting of suppliers in order to ensure that the quality system is documented, implemented, maintained and systematically audited.  We would like to begin the process of an ISO level of accountability.  This position will monitor that the customers have appropriate spare parts inventory and that we are carrying necessary inventory.
