RESERVOIR ENGINEER - TAKULA

Overview:The Takula Asset reservoirs are being produced through waterflood and primary depletion. This position is primarily responsible for Takula Upper and Lower Pinda, Takula Mesa, Takula Toca and Wamba Vermelha reservoirs. The aggregation of development plans for the above reservoirs indicates that there is potential to unlock recoverable reserves through a variety of activities that span from infill drilling, optimization of an existing waterflood to initiating new waterfloods over the next few years.  SPECIAL CONSIDERATION: This position requires some travel to Angola, West Africa. Key Job Responsibilities:  Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Undertake reservoir engineering activities in order to optimize reservoir depletion plans and help generate a rich list of rigwork opportunities. Provide technical support and technical leadership/mentoring to the Takula Non Verm Technical team, embedded in the Houston-based Reservoir Management Support Team. Interface with the Luanda and Malongo based Asset Team counterparts, as well as interact with Joint Venture partners of the Cabinda Association.Required (Basic) Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of 3 years experience of directly related experience.
