Refinery Reliability Engineer

Leading integrated energy company is seeking to fill the position of Refinery Reliability Engineer at its East San Francisco Bay Area Refinery.  If you are qualified and wish to advance your career in this challenging position, please e-mail your resume in MS Word or Adobe PDF format. Responsibilities: Lead the Mitigation Potential Threats (MPT) work process to assure identification, prioritization and mitigation of reliability threats in the refinery; Provide support and conduct risk assessments as needed; Support Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and the investigation process by facilitating, collecting and analyzing reliability performance data; Communicate performance data to site leadership, production teams, and run and maintain organization; Act as link between Production Teams and the Reliability Steering Team (RST), participating in routine running and maintaining of meetings to ensure Preventative Maintenance, RCM, and other aspects of reliability are represented; Develop the site's Reliability Strategy to close gaps in availability, capability and competence. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent; 5 or more years of relevant professional experience; Knowledge of refining and processes; Knowledge of analyses for equipment reliability.
