Regulatory Case Manager

Job Description:Responsible, with the operating company, for overall development and management of filings to state and federal regulatory agencies, including those filings which are key to meeting corporate earnings objectives. Responsible for corporate regulatory strategy development and coordination. Educates others on interrelationships between cost drivers and revenue. Serves as the highest level of staff resource for the company in the regulatory area.Lead broad-based effort to develop, file, and manage major filings with state regulatory commissions, in coordination with the operating companies. Assume primary responsibility for development of major filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, as well. Coordinate the overall process for the filings, including responsibility for accuracy and completeness of required schedules, and identification of witnesses and development of testimony. Provide important input into decision process on key strategic issues shaping the Company's regulatory initiative.Develop teams and networks that extend through the companyMaintain knowledge of trends and policies within the commissions that affect the company's operation. This includes regulatory decisions, rules and information requirements.Develop strategic alternatives and analysis, and make recommendations for resolution of major regulatory issues. Support operating companies in carrying out their responsibilities to maintain appropriate business relationships with state commissions by providing data, analysis, and recommendations, as necessary. Manage, as assigned, regulatory support employees. Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy.Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Job Experience:Relevant experience, education and skills will determine the appropriate title and compensation level.Bachelors degree in accounting, computer science, economics, engineering, finance, business administration, or related fields or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. FROMTen (10) years regulatory experience or combination of relevant experience and education. Sustained excellent work performance (PC 4 or better) at the Case Manager II level.TO:Ten (10) years regulatory experience or combination of relevant experience and education.
