Reliability Technician

Description:

Soliant Energy is seeking a Reliability Technician experienced in environmental testing of components and systems.

Responsibilities: Work with internal Reliability Engineers to ensure proper execution of environmental testing. Work with outside suppliers for reliability testing when appropriate. Document test results Design and fabricate test jigs, fixtures and device performance equipment as required Perform routine preventative maintenance on test chambers

Required Qualifications & Experience: Associate of Applied Science degree or equivalent 5+ years experience Experience working with environmental test equipment such as Temp Cycle, Temp Shock and Humidity Freeze a must Hands on experience in a dynamic environment with aggressive schedules Experience working with mechanical and electronic measurement equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs Working with design engineers, perform failure analysis activities Reliable vehicle Be creative, self motivated, and resourceful

Desired Qualifications & Experience: Solar panel, or CPV experience a plus Familiarity with UL test procedures a plus Experience setting up a reliability test lab desired
