Reservoir Engineer

Privately owned group of companies in oil and gas exploration, drilling, trucking, oil field supply, pipelines, and crude oil marketing. Based in Wyoming since 1948, we operate throughout the Rocky Mountain region.  We are currently looking for a Reservoir Engineer.

Job Description:Study each of operated reservoirs to understand the reservoir characteristic and current production methods.Propose new or different methods of enhanced oil recovery techniques where warranted and work with other engineers and field personnel to help implement new or different enhanced oil recovery techniques.Run reservoir simulations using various enhanced oil recovery techniques Work with geologists and geophysicists to map the reservoirs.Determine reserves for each reservoir or well.Monitor the performance of each reservoir or well.Evaluate fields and/or wells to determine remaining recoverable reserves for possible purchase.

Education/Education:

B.S. Petroleum Engineering or Relative Degree

10+ years in Reservoir Engineering

Must be knowledge with current enhanced oil recovery techniques. Experience and knowledge of Rocky Mountain reservoirs is preferred.  Must have willingness and ability to attend professional seminars and lectures to continue education on current techniques and technologies.  Professional Engineering License is preferred; ability to obtain one is required.
