Residential Equipment Sales Specialist

PETRO, the largest home heating oil services Company in the United States, is seeking an HVAC Systems Specialist to join our outside sales team! This is an Excellent Opportunity to get involved with an Industry Leader working out of our Baltimore office!

In this highly visible sales position, you will identify HVAC needs and develop system solutions, prepare and deliver sales presentations, close the sale, complete all required documentation, and work with installation and operations departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.  We provide the leads and set the appointments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Analyze HVAC system situation and determine customer's/prospect's requirementsPrepare and deliver sales presentationsUpdate Home Equipment ProfilesAdhere to credit policies for customers and non-customersDiagram layout and design of HVAC systemsPrepare installation/terms documentation; Complete equipment materials listPrepare sales contract, obtain signature, secure down payment and submit to the Installation Department in a timely manner Resolve problems with customer, if necessary, raised by Installation Manager after contract reviewSolicit referralsMarket other services (such as oil) and complete required documentationAchieve sales objectives as set forth by the company for the assigned area through company leads and self-generated leads, as requiredKeep abreast of technological developments impacting the industry

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and solid background in the HVAC industry a must. Equivalent experience in the HVAC sales industry will be considered. Proven HVAC sales experience is required, including experience in estimating and composing all paperwork and documents required to sell the products and facilitate the efficient and profitable installation.

·  Working knowledge of MS Outlook

·  Valid drivers license

·  Basic automobile insurance
