A thriving, rapidly growing Oil & Gas Company is seeking an Assistant to the Risk Manager to add to their staff. This assistant will be responsible for the maintenance of the consolidated well and facilities schedule which is used for insurance/risk management purposes and to calculate the company's Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO). This is a newly created position that will allow the selected candidate to assist the Risk Manager in the administration of the insurance/risk management program.Responsibilities:· Insurance policy maintenance.· Develop underwriting information/data.· Preparation of insurance schedules. · Completion of insurance policy applications.· Review insurance policies for accuracy and premium invoice processing.· Duties and responsibilities as determined by Management.Qualifications:· High School diploma and at least 1 year of college coursework · A minimum of 2 years experience working with complex Excel spreadsheets including, but not limited to, the ability to sort and manipulate complex data, create complex formulas, create and understand look-up tables and integrate data from various sources· Keen attention to detail as accuracy of the work product is absolutely critical· Ability to communicate effectively with various internal departments including operations and accounting The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications:· 1 year experience with the oil and gas industry including the ability to read and understand Divisions of Interest. · An understanding and experience working with the OWL database· An understanding of oil and gas terminology· Experience with other Microsoft software including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.We are ready to evaluate top Risk Management Assistants to present to our client.
