SALES ENGINEER
Alturdyne has a 35-year history of providing creative and dependable power solutions to a wide range of clients in the industrial, military and telecommunications fields.
We are currently seeking an individual to represent us in marketing our products and services throughout the US. This job requires a background in the standby generator field with previous experience in sales and estimating. An engineering degree is preferred, but not necessary.
Job duties include all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business. Calling on customers, preparing technical qutotations and proposals, and following through with after-sales coordination is included. Strong customer service orientation is required, along with good communication and team-building skills. Candidate must have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to work independently and be available for travel, as needed.
Alturdyne packages diesel generator sets from 15 up to 3000 kW in custom acoustic enclosures. We also furnish turbine auxiliary power units (APUs), dual fuel, and cogeneration systems. We have over 4000 power packages in our product line and we also offer service contracts and parts support.
