Safety Coordinator

MasTec North America is a leading provider of Underground Utility Services and Pipeline/Gas maintenance. We are currently seeking a Safety Coordinator for our pipeline field office located in Stanley, ND. 

 

Position

The Health & Safety Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall regulatory compliance support for the North Dakota Pipeline project.  The primary responsibilities of this position will be to ensure the project is in alignment with internal and external regulatory compliance.

 

Primary Function & Responsibilities: Provide overall regulatory support to the Project Managers to meet the requirements of corporate standards, policies and proceduresProvide regulatory support specific to project constructionCoordinate and conduct the HSE Audit Program Coordinate and conduct the HSE Training Program for the projectCoordinate the work necessary for projects to comply with HSE policies, standards and requirementsConduct incident investigations and assist with injury management procedures

Preferred applicant will be a self-starter and be committed to the safety of all employees, contractors, and the general public.  This individual must also possess extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations (CFR 1926) and excellent communication skills.

 

Other qualifications include excellent written and computer skills, including knowledge and capability of using Windows XP programs. Applicant shall have the initiative and motivation to work in a fast-paced environment.
