Senior Accounting Specialist of Financial Reporting

Large and well known energy company in Denver is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist of Financial Reporting. This position will be a direct hire and resumes are being accepted immediately.

Minimum Requirements:

· At least 7 years of Accounting related experience and at least 4 years of experience with financial reporting

· Extensive GAAP knowledge

· Must be proficient in Microsoft word, excel, and access

· Strong analytical and logical thought processes and the ability to identify potential disclosure issues from applicable GAAP and/or SEC regulations

· Must be able to work well in small team environments as well as independently

· Strong oral and written communications skills

· FERC financial reporting

· SEC financial reporting

· Bachelor's degree in Finance,  Accounting, Business Administration or related field is required
