Senior Application Developer, JD Edwards

This position is conveniently located at the CHS Corporate Headquarters and our office is a business-casual dress environment.Responsibilities: The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for translating functional specifications into technical solutions. You'll deliver the technical effort for EnterpriseOne Program Manager while operating under limited supervision with the authority to take appropriate action to resolve the issues at hand. By applying professional concepts and procedures you will solve a variety of problems, while working with the Senior IT Project Lead and various IT Business Analysts to specify, construct, unit test and system test JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions.In addition, you'll assist with technical reviews of code developed by other peers to share skills and knowledge. Adheres to programming/development deadlines and will consults with client to prototype, refine, test, and debug solutions to meet needs. Designs specifications and processes that meet the requirements outlined using CHS methodologies and standards. Requirements: A BS or BA degree in Computer Sciences or Management Information Systems and relevant certification are preferred. At least three to five years experience coding and delivering project based JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Technical Solutions. Experience using Object Management Workbench (OMW); Data Dictionary (DD), Named Event Rules (NER); Form Design Aid (FDA); Enterprise Report Writer (ERW); User Defined Codes (UDC); Table Conversions; DB2/400; System I; C/C++; Java; .Net C#. Experience in sharing and helping other developers in best practices.Ability to handle multiple different activities, troubleshoot development and production related issues as they arise and work independently with general supervision. Incumbent must demonstrate initiative to get things done, flexibility to adapt to changing work environment and possess an aptitude to learn new technologies.
