Senior Application Developer, (Web .Net, C#)

This position is conveniently located at the CHS Corporate Headquarters and our office is a business-casual dress environment.Responsibilities: The Senior Application Developer and Subject Matter Expert to existing web applications group.  As Senior Developer your projects will include the re-write of classic ASP applications using C# and .Net, BizTalk solutions and BEA ALUI Portal applications.  As SME, you'll assist with technical reviews of code developed by other peers to share skills and knowledge and mentor the group into a mature .NET team.  Other duties include enhancements and break/fix your assigned applications.  You'll operate under limited supervision with the authority to take appropriate action to resolve issues at hand. You'll apply professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems.  Adhere to programming/development deadlines and will consults with client to prototype, refine, test, and debug solutions to meet needs. Designs specifications and processes that meet the requirements outlined using CHS methodologies and standards. Requirements: Bachelors Degree or relevant certifications are preferred. 7 - 10 years experience programming in a Microsoft environment. Proven experience with Microsoft Development technologies and using standard SDLC methodologies. 3+ years of .NET experience. Proven development skills with .NET framework and C#.NET Proven experience using: IIS, MS SQL Server, MS Visual Studio, HTML, Classic ASP, JavaScript, Visual Basic, VB Script, Microsoft .NET 1.x and 2.0, DTS-packages. Pluses are Allegro, Tidal Scheduler, SQL 2005, BEA ALUI 6.1.1, Visio. Experience in leading other developers in best practices Solid foundation in N-Tier development on Microsoft platform Able to troubleshoot web development and production related issues Experienced in Object-Oriented design and development methodologies. Knowledge of Java a plusAbility to handle multiple different activities, troubleshoot web development and production related issues as they arise and work independently with general supervision. Incumbent must demonstrate initiative to get things done, flexibility to adapt to changing work environment and possess an aptitude to learn new technologies.
