Our client a global leader in their industry has an immediate need for a Senior Benefits Analyst to join their dynamic Benefits group.  In this critical role, you will be performing high level analytics, benchmarking and metrics for key benefit programs, which include Defined Benefits, Defined Contribution, & Health and Welfare plans. The incumbent will possess a high level of accountability for benefit expertise to employees, strategic vendor management, benefits analysis & metrics, & reporting and compliance.  As a Senior Benefits Analyst you will have an opportunity to impact their employees and retirees’ everyday on a personal level….you can make a difference while utilizing your experience, talent, and knowledge in the benefits area.

 

Responsibilities:Working with the Benefits Manager in the development and seamless execution of a cost effective strategies leading to best practices which includes a variety of benefit options, wellness and national considerations along with work life balance focuses.Research and analyze legislative changes and developments affecting benefit plans regarding compliance issues with (FMLA, COBRA, HIPPA, ADA & ERISA). Evaluate emerging trends, identify gaps and recommend solutions, and benchmark analysis and comparisons. Leveraging technology to simplify internal processes, minimize paper work and limit delays in processing.Act as point person for benefit knowledge regarding benefit options, legal rights, and escalated service issues.Assist in open enrollments, rate renewals, trend analysis, vendor selections, etc.

 

Qualifications: BS/BA and 4-7 yrs progressive experience in Benefits Administration.Knowledge of all Federal and State regulations, filing and compliance. Strong analytical, mathematical, statistical, problem-solving & decision-making abilities

·         Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

·         Flexibility to balance multiple changing priorities       

·         Superior verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills are essential

·         Energetic, upbeat & outgoing personality

·         Expert proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
