Our client, a well respected and industry leading oil and natural gas acquisition and production firm, is looking for outstanding individuals to take on great levels of responsibility. This skilled and exceptional Geologist will join a team of extraordinary senior professionals focused on the discovery of fresh reserves in the Northern Rockies, Wyoming, Montana and Gulf of Mexico.

 

Successful candidates will be challenged to be creative and innovative in researching critical topics pertinent to the project evaluations they are supporting, to make the most of all technological resources provided by Client, extensive interpretation of industry best practices, and local competitor knowledge in order to uncover hidden opportunities.  In addition, this will be a significant learning and professional growth opportunity since the successful candidate will work on a number of vastly different project evaluations each year in many of the hottest onshore plays as well as the Gulf of Mexico.

The client’s ideal candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience which includes work for an oil company or consulting company as a development/exploration geologist and significant field experience in the Rocky Mountain Region. Licensed Petroleum Geologist Registration is preferred.
