SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (OVERTIME, IRREGULAR HOURS, TRAVEL, ETC.):

This is the most senior non-management level of the Gas Control Analyst progression. The Senior Analyst provides technical and work direction to Analyst I/II and is able to apply advanced analytical/problem solving skills to handle the most complex Gas Control situations.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
Will perform some/all of the Analyst II Duties & Responsibilities, in addition to:

1. Monitor pressures and recording information using our databases.
2. Provides technical guidance and work direction to Analysts I/II. Trains new team members.
3. Analyzes wide-range of Gas Control related data to determine most efficient (profitable?) movement of volumes while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Uses historical data to identify trends and perform forecasts.
4. Develops, recommends and implements Gas Control departmental procedures and process improvements.5. . Represents Gas Control in cross-functional meetings.
5. Assists Director/management with planning and implementation of enhancements to the Gas Control system.
6. Supervisor over Gas Analyst I.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of 2 years experience as a PGS Gas Control Analyst II required
OR
In lieu of PGS experience, a minimum of 5 years of directly related natural gas control experience in progressively more complex assignments is required.

Must consistently perform at/above expectations in all Level II Responsibilities and must demonstrate leadership skills and initiative in pursuing self-development opportunities.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
A two-year technical degree is strongly preferred and may substitute for 1-2 years of related experience
OR
Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 1 year of natural gas industry experience.

EDUCATION:
High school degree. See under preferred for experience and education options.
