Senior Mechanical Engineer: Turbine Plant *Needed ASAP*

Senior Mechanical Engineer: Turbine Plant *Needed ASAP* *Position can be permanent or long term contractDuties/Responsibilities: Perform engineering and design of mechanical systems related to turbine island for new design PWR power plant to be constructed in China. Develop calculations and engineering diagrams for mechanical systems including equipment sizing; process flow diagram and P&ID development; develop specifications for equipment; prepare license basis documents in accordance with appropriate codes, standards, procedures and license commitments. Understand and work to company and project procedures. Interface with other disciplines and with customer. Occasional travel to customer and/or construction site in China. Qualification: BS in Mechanical Engineering. 8+ years experience in mechanical engineering and design of nuclear turbine plant systems. Experienced in engineering of fluid systems, fluid mechanics, and fluid system equipment applications. Ability to plan, organize and execute the work. Working knowledge of nuclear plant BOP steam, water, fire protection and HVAC systems. Working knowledge of ASME codes. Knowledge of nuclear plant license process and NRC regulations. Capable of working independently with minimal guidance, with ability to establish own work priorities; must work safely and adhere to safety policies. Computer literacy required. 3D plant modeling; intelligent drawing systems; database management. Experience in system functional calculations. Experience with system equipment.Specialization in circulating and cooling water, condensate, feedwater, steam systems and/or condensate polishing systems.
