Senior National Accounts Representative

The Senior National Accounts Representative will provide customer care for various commercial and industrial accounts; ensure that policies and procedures are outlined and are being adhered to; develop and implement procedures for business activities that take place in Customer Operations; recommend continuous improvement modules and suggestions to increase employee productivity and morale; and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within all areas of ConEdison Solutions and cross-functional teams to create a positive work environment while promoting healthy communications.  Strong analytical skills are required. 

 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Ensure the quality and timeliness of billing.

 Develop and implement procedures on how to perform job responsibilities in each area of customer operations.

 Complete various reports to confirm that the appropriate charges are being assessed to the appropriate accounts.  Monitor reports for trends or inaccuracies.

 Perform internal audits including adjustments, refunds, late payment charges and reversals for each billing system

 Operate, maintain and develop systems necessary to produce customer commodity billing. Such systems include NirvanaSoft & CIS.

 Analyze tariffs and rates of different utilities.

 Update product structures and indexes that produce commodity billing.

 Review changing tax law with Finance and implement any changes.

 Carry out plan set forth by Director of National Accounts.

 Track accounts receivable and make necessary adjustments as set forth by Customer Operations or Finance.

 Track billing system performance to see that department goals are met.

 Handle strategic commercial & industrial customer accounts. 

 

 

Education:

 College degree and/or 6 – 8 years of general customer service experience or 2-3 years of recent supervisory experience required

 

 

Skills:

 

· Excellent organization and project management skills.

 

· Highly motivated and creative thinker.

 

· Excellent analytical and communication skills.

 

· Excellent PC skills including the Microsoft suite of products.

 

 

Experience (please include the number of years required):

 

· Experience developing policies and procedures.

 

· Customer service background.
