We are currently seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer who is a self-starter, self driven and enthusiastic to contribute in a start-up environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models and fabrication drawings of internal concentrating solar panels and the fixtures to manufacture them. May prepare documentation packages, create and maintain BOM, process design changes, and establish PDM methods.


Responsibilities will include the following:Execute engineering drawings of module components and assembly proceduresPerform mechanical analysis (FEA, and analytical) to ensure module mechanical performanceManage staff of junior mechanical engineersParticipate in the development of datasheets of our products

Candidate is required to have experience with SolidWorks, FEA modeling, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5).

Candidates must have 8+ years experience in design engineering, preferably in the photovoltaic industry and a BSME, (MSME) is preferred.
