Pepco Energy Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI) is a provider of non-regulated energy and energy related services and products in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Our Energy Services Group is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the team.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  Manage multiple large projects from design, bidding through construction and commissioning while meeting cost and schedule objectivesEnsure that the projects meet long-term energy performance guaranteesDevelop constructive and long lasting relationships with subcontractors and customers. Develop and lead effective teamsSupport the Vice President of Construction’s Corporate Objectives including development of procedures and practices consistent with the construction industry.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor of Science in Engineering or commensurate progressive experience in mechanical contracting and/or energy services contracting strongly preferred15+ years progressively responsible experience in the project/construction management of projects from $ 500,000 to $ 10,000,000Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple large energy conservation projects up to and  including cogeneration projectsAbility to work in the mid-Atlantic region on projects in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.Contracting experience with local, state, federal government and large academic institutions would be beneficialThe successful candidate will be proficient in MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
