Senior Well Engineer (Multiple)

Our client is one of the major operators and needs MANY experienced Well Engineers. The various positions include:
1) Based in Houston working project in AK
2) Based in Houston working project in Gulf of Mexico
3) Based in Canada (Calgary)
4) Based in Houston initially and then relocate to South America for a couple years

Duties include:
• Develop well engineering solutions for projects by following the Well Delivery Process, using approved methodologies and tools such as Deliver-the-Limit, and meeting review tollgates as required.
• Ensure the recognition and appropriate mitigation of technical, commercial and operational risks associated with the delivery of well projects.
• Deliver world-class HSE and operational performance in applicable well engineering and well construction activities.
• Ensure all wells are planned and designed to meet compliance criteria, relevant local regulatory requirements, policies and best practices, including full consideration of HSE & Sustainability goals in all designs.
• Influence technology strategy development by proactively providing feedback from lessons learnt during reviews, studies, deployment and implementation of new technology to our research/technical development teams.
• Develop well engineering plans for each project in accordance with the overall multidisciplinary project plan.
• Initiate change and champion best practice application of appropriate technical design practices, technology, and Deliver-the-Limit practices.
• Promote and encourage global learning and communication by maintaining an active learning and improvement loop based on the post well review process.
• Maintain and support improvement efforts in the technical aspects of the well delivery process, including DtL action items and technology applications.

MUST HAVE:
5+ years experience in Well Engineering, to include:
• In-depth knowledge and skills in well design and execution theory and practice
• Proven supervisory experience in the field as well as in an office-based environment
• A proven safety leadership record and familiarity with safety management techniques
• Practical knowledge and application of drilling optimization techniques (e.g. Deliver-the-Limit, etc)
• Strong knowledge of latest technology applications related to well and completion design
