Service Order Specialist

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position at our Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. Headquarter located in Bryn Mawr, PA: Service Order Specialist

 

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

 

Responsible for updating Aqua’s Customer Information System, Banner, after field work is completed. Duties Includes creating and completing service orders, read one link edits, and service link exceptions.  Responding to customer’s questions and/or complaints, EWQ or Customer Service Representative inquires.  Process returned mail based on Postal Office findings and make necessary corrections to the Banner System.



 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

Records Field Representatives’ activities and findings in the Banner System.  Analyze customer records to determine if account should be billed or re-billed.  Must become familiar with Aqua’s Billing practices and procedures.

 

Become familiar with PA Chapter 56 Standards or equivalent state regulations.

 

Become familiar with Aqua’s meter types and reading methods.  Including the number of dials on a meter and understand how the meter readings are obtained. Research route sheets or Service Link reports as needed for previously completed work in order to resolve customer issues. 

 

Responsible for completion of all types of service order exceptions including those specifically related to our RF contractor, and ServiceLink.

 

Be able to calculate a customer’s average daily usage to adjust an out reading on a stuck or backwards meter, or prorate the out read on a final bill.



 

Responsible for timely and accurate completion of exception service orders.



 



Must be able to apply miscellaneous charges associated with the closing of a service order.

 

Record the daily productivity of the Service Order Specialist group.

 

Performs all other tasks or special functions as directed by the Supervisor or   Manager.
