Job Description:North Houston based oil and gas company seeks a Severance Tax Accountant to join their team. Duties will include severance tax reporting and payments in multiple states, assisting Revenue Accounting with monthly accruals of severance tax, interpreting relevant tax codes and maintaining the data base of producing wells. Keys for success in this role include being a team player, being responsive to needs and deadlines and the willingness to perform a variety of accounting tasks.


Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3+ years of relevant multi-state severance tax accounting experience.
