Sr. Accountant - Financial Reporting



 

Responsibilities

· Preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements as well as other external financial information.

· Preparing the consolidated cash flow statement.

· Preparing and analyzing internal financial information and related reports.

· Assisting in SEC reporting.

· Assisting in GAAP research.

· Preparing periodic reports to various government agencies.

· Interfacing with the external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.

· Providing information to the Company’s Investor Relations Team.

· Special financial related projects.

 

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred. At least 5 years of related work experience required, including financial reporting experience. Good work ethics: accurate, dependable and detail oriented. Working knowledge of and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles. Good personal computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with Hyperion Enterprise a plus. Sound analytical ability. Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate data logically, accurately and concisely. Able to work effectively with others in a strong team-oriented environment. Able to work with minimum supervision on routine assignments. Overtime is expected during peak accounting processes. Oil & Gas Industry experience a plus. Position to be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
