Sr. Accounts Manager-Grade 15 (2 Positions)

The Senior Accounts Manager retains existing and captures new commercial and industrial (C&I) customer accounts in order to generate incremental commodity earnings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Negotiates commercial terms relative to commodity sales transactions for existing and new customers.
* Manages account relationships with customer decision makers. Timely posts all relevant account information to customer relationship management application in order to effectuate timely renewals, qualify prospects and capture new business.
* Manages timely and accurate transactional data flow via Upside contract administration process. Serves as liaison with credit staff to ensure appropriate credit data is available for credit evaluation.
* Prepares proposals, presentations and reports relative to account sales activity including responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
* Reviews customer invoices and addresses cross-functional customer inquiries in conjunction with customer service representatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics or related field; and
* At least three years of related sales experience; OR
* An equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Strong negotiation and sales skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
* Natural gas sales experience, including a thorough understanding of complex commodity price structures, associated sales agreements, associated billing statements and underlying gas supply and price risk management processes preferred.
* Experience in calling on commercial and industrial clients preferred.
