Our information is critical to PG&E's current Operating Plan, and our ongoing improvement efforts.Position SummaryThe Senior HR Research Analyst will utilize workforce analytics to build predictive models and develop metrics that will be used to manage and track business.Responsibilities:• Metric monitoring, reporting, and consulting: Capture HR and PG&E performance metrics/data; review and analyze captured information for issues, opportunities, and trends; Work with the internal HR organization and line clients to anchor metrics to business requirements; Conduct regular metric review and analysis sessions with key clients - provide insights and action recommendations to address gaps indicated; Actively coordinate Company participation in benchmarking and best practice forums; Develop a comprehensive resource pool of HR best practice information for use by the organization in reviewing metric information. • Workforce Planning analysis and predictive model development: Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to develop and enhance predictive models based on workforce planning and external data; Develop predictive models for turnover/attrition, employee engagement, retention, employee movement, talent acquisition and other Human Resource key areas of focus; Work with line organizations and the HR organization to ensure models and analysis are accurately connected to and reflect PG&E business priorities and realities. • Workforce Analytics and Demographic Reporting: Utilizing company-standard tools, extract information from PG&E systems for reporting and analysis purposes; Provide demographic reports and workforce analysis directly to line of business clients as needed; Work collaboratively with the HR demographic reporting team to ensure data consistency and report delivery efficiency.QualificationsRequired:• Bachelor’s degree in related area and five plus years related experience.• Workforce / demographic analysis and Metrics / Reporting experience.Desired:• MA Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Statistics or related area.• Development of predictive models.• Human Resources experience.Please apply directly to the following URL: http://careers.pge.com/pljb/global_jsp/applicant/DisplayJob/JobDetails.jsp?display=1&pljbHome=/pge/external_careers/applicant/index.jsp&id=2953Equal Employment Opportunity, M/F/D/V.
