Sr. Maintenance Planner

Responsibilities:

Preparation of Electrical maintenance work packages including identification of job scope, field walk down of the job, estimate of manpower require, detailed work instruction development, identification of materials required, identification of permits and request required and interface with support groups necessary to perform the job. Coordinate and plan any additional special projects which are required or can enhance the operation of maintenance planning group. Work with planner/maintenance team to ensure department goals are achieved or exceeded. Qualify and maintain qualification for assigned Emergency Response Team Position.

 

Qualifications: High School Diploma and 2 years of technical school training, or related experience and training considered equivalent 8 years experience related to maintenance, repair, modification and testing for Electrical equipment and componentsKnowledge of craft codes and standards associated with the performance of Electrical  maintenance activities on nuclear and non-nuclear related equipment and components Strong performance skills regarding policy and procedures, decision making, problem solving and teamwork Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to plan work activities,  familiar with operation of Passport Ability to perform work and solve day to day problems without close supervision Ability to organize documentation, data and information into neat easily accessible files and systems using Passport
