Makes decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and represents the department in conferences, resolve important questions, and coordinates work. Demonstrates interpolative thinking, utilizes advanced techniques, modifications or extensions to practiced theories. May function as group leader on project or departmental task assignments.Support project's design and procurement efforts for mechanical equipment. Perform and check routine engineering calculations and designs. Perform squad checks of supplier's drawings and data.QualificationsBS in Mechanical Engineering, 20 plus years of directly related heat transfer equipment selection and design experience in the power industries. Specific working knowledge of applicable heat transfer equipment and industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API, HEI, TEMA). Proficiency in general office and engineering computer software, such as: HTRI, BJAC, HTFS, and ACOLPreferred Qualifications:California State Professional Engineering Registration (Mechanical)
